so i know d*s just posted on erin tyner, but i ran into these prints and loved 'em. the trees look like deer gambes. makes me want to make all sorts of scenes in boxes. in other diorama news, i get to make more trees! these'll be headed to new orleans and hopefully i can help put them in their places. next week i'll be working at the steinhart and i'm excited to peek my head around!

dioramania
so i know d*s just posted on erin tyner, but i ran into these prints and loved 'em. the trees look like deer gambes. makes me want to make all sorts of scenes in boxes. in other diorama news, i get to make more trees! these'll be headed to new orleans and hopefully i can help put them in their places. next week i'll be working at the steinhart and i'm excited to peek my head around!

Thank you so much for posting about my photography on your blog! I'm going to try to make some mini birch trees by painting little sticks. Dioramas make me feel like a kid again :)
that's cool erin, can't wait to see them! i'm helping make some life size japanese maples headed to new orleans...it's funny, but somehow life size objects don't seem to fit into the definition of a diorama. i tend to think of shoe boxes, spools of thread, the borrowers, plastic dinosaurs and toothpicks.
